CHRISTOPHER MELLY

Christopher Melly is a restaurant veteran whose journey began humbly as a food runner at 16 in Springfield, PA. With a lifetime immersed in restaurant operations, Chris has honed his skills in every aspect of the industry, contributing to the successful launch of over 40 new businesses across diverse locales.


After college, Chris discovered his passion for restaurant management at a mom and pop sports bar in Philadelphia. Seeking to refine his craft, he ventured to New York City, where he served as Beverage Director at Resto and The Cannibal, and volunteered at Wine and Spirits Magazine as a panel taster.


His career flourished as he took on high-profile roles at L'Apicio, BRGuest Hospitality, and Tim Cushman's establishments, before becoming a partner in a startup hospitality group in Los Angeles. Chris's leadership grew the company from 4 to 16 locations before relocating to sunny Scottsdale for a new opportunity.


Embracing hospitality and business ethos, Chris strikes a delicate balance, evident in his heartfelt speeches and proven track record of increasing profitability and guest experience. Inspired by industry icons like Danny Meyer and Sam Fox, Chris remains grounded, always seeking growth and learning.


A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Chris brings a blend of academic insight and real-world experience, coupled with a genuine passion for food, wine, and travel.
